Thirteen marks of a Pharisee:

1. They don't recognize the work of the Holy Spirit.

Matt 12:1-7

2. They emphasize the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law.

3. They try to steal the glory of Jesus away.

Matt 12:22-24

They are attention seekers, sowing discord and spreading rumors and gossip.

4. They seek for signs while ignoring the Scriptures.

Matt 12:38-40

5. They get offended at Bible preaching.

Matt 15:12, John 16:1

6. They ask questions without wanting the truth.

Matt 19:3

7. They join up with people they don't agree with against a common enemy.

8. They don't live what they preach (hypocrites).

9. They fake spirituality publicly.

10. They put money over souls.

11. They major on minor things.

12. They don't have compassion.

13. They assume everyone's problems are because of sin.
